
My Story
I was born in Chicago and went to the Chicago Public Schools.
I was in the United States Army, stationed in Berlin, Germany, for three years.
I graduated from Illinois College.
I studied History, English, Education and Theater.
I was a teacher of History in the Chicago Public Schools.
I married and have two daughters.
My wife died.
I later married a fellow teacher.
I was an announcer/engineer at WKRS 1220-AM.
When I retired from teaching, I studied acting at Victory Gardens and Roosevelt University and with private tutors.
After training, I acted in 20 stage productions and recorded 20 audio books fiction and non-fiction.
I became volunteer reader for hospitalized veterans at Hines VA Hospital.
I became a certified audio describer for live theater for no vision or low vision clients.
